Subject: [*] Plugin Filter source code
This is most of the source code to the Graphite plugin filter and
several others, in the hopes that it might be useful to someone. It
makes extensive use of Metrowerks CodeWarrior PowerPlant, drag & drop,
graphics tablet support, and a bunch of other neat things. The plugins
are based on a few core C++ classes and thus should be easily
extensible.
Permission of the author is required for any distributions. Full
permission is granted for personal use; commercial users should contact
the author at twall@kagi.com.

The Atomic Mac is a periodic table of the elements for the Macintosh. In
addition to the usual information found in such programs, The Atomic Mac
also contains a wealth of nuclear information on each isotope, including
half life, decay mode, and daughter products. X-ray data (fluorescence and
binding energies) is also available. A molecular weight calculator makes it
easy to find the molecular weight of compounds. A shaded diagram showing
the ranges of physical properties makes it easy to visualize relationships
across the periodic table.

Subject: best accelerator cards?
Hello>
Can anyone advise me on which accelerator card I can buy for my
PowerComputing minitower PowerCenter 150? I am considering between
the Sonnet Crescendo G3 300mhz 1mb L2 backside cache and the XLR8
MachSpeed G3 300Mhz 512k/150 backside cache. They are both at the
same price here in the UK and low enough, I think, for a purchase now.
I believe that the Sonnet is put into a PCI slot whilst the original
processor is left in and it bypasses (cuts out) the original
processor to take over. I think that the XLR8 is a processor swap. I
am not sure about this, since I have had conflicting advice.
Also, will there be any noticeable performance speed difference
between the 1mb L2 backside cache of the Sonnet's and the 512k of the
XLR8's?
I haven't a great deal of technical knowledge.
